It’s always a little extra special
when I get to photograph a wedding for a family I know…
this beautiful bride just so happens to be super good friends with one of my younger sisters…
(to those who have met her, it’s my amazingly talented sister Hilary )

The wedding was absolutely beautiful…
(I’m talking about that perfect and amazing kind of beautiful)
The weather was warm but breezy -
and I couldn’t help but get chills when Emily walked down the hill to see her groom…
This wedding, hands down, wins for the number of times I got teary during the day -
the ‘father-daugther dance’ in particular was really beautiful.

On a side note, I was incredibly blessed and excited to have Lindsay assist with me this weekend!
Linds is an all around wonderful person — I always feel like I smile more when she’s around…
but more so, she’s got an amazing eye and natural gift for photography!
